Custom Men’s Trousers

Mr. Colette Trousers are made with high-quality fabrics such as light wool, pure wool and tergal as they are fresh, breathable and quick drying.

Everything is made in Valencia, using Spanish and European materials.

All buttons are vintage and unique, in order to not generate plastic waste according to our eco-friendly values.

The sewing patterns are inspired by the 1940s, with a high waist at the belly-button line and a straight fit. Inside the waistband, there is a silicone ribbon to fixate your shirts better inside the trousers when moving.

You can choose if you want to wear them with suspenders using the buttons inside the waistband or using a belt utilizing the little belt loop at the front to hold it in place.

In the back, we leave a bit of extra fabric; so you can change the fitting in case you need it.

The trousers have 3 big pockets, 2 front ones and 1 rear one. It also features 2 extra internal pockets (one for card/pocket money/pocket watch) at the front waistband and another one inside the left main pocket for a phone or wallet on the left, it is placed on the left in order to not disturb while dancing with a partner, but you can decide in which side you prefer to have it. If you prefer the extra pockets on the right, please let us know.

Another important detail is inside the hem, it has an extra fabric tape inside in order to reduce potential damage of the fabric from your shoes while dancing.

This is our base model, but you can customize your trousers and make some modifications like a frontal pocket flap, lowering the waist a few centimeters, a waistband with one button instead of two, legs with or without a hem.

The fabrics are very exclusive; we make a maximum of 10 trousers from the same fabric.

Regarding the fabrics, we use light wool, pure wool, tergal and micro corduroy.

• Light wool is made from the natural fibers from the fleece of animals with high quality. Light wool is not warm, but very absorbent, comfortable, lightweight, extremely airy, breathable, soft and regulates your own temperature with a beautiful drape. Sometimes light wool is blended with other textiles, such as spandex or elastane, to add stretch. Light wool cannot be washed at home. Remember to bring your wool clothing to a professional dry cleaner. It is not necessary to do this all the time and you can use steam to smooth out wrinkles.
• Pure wool is made from the natural fibers from the fleece of animals with high quality. Pure wool is warmer than light wool and we also have them with different thicknesses. Is very absorbent, breathable, comfortable, soft and regulates your own temperature with a beautiful drape. Sometimes it is blended with other textiles, such as spandex or elastane, to add stretch. Wool cannot be washed at home. Remember to bring your wool clothing to a professional dry cleaner. It is not necessary to do this all the time and you can use steam to smooth out wrinkles.
• Tergal is a semi-synthetic fabric, made from wood pulp blended with other textiles, such as spandex or elastane to allow resistance and stretch with a beautiful drape. Is absorbent, lightweight, airy, breathable, comfortable, soft and wrinkle-resistant, perfect for daily outfits or travel It can be washed at home, either by hand in cold water or on a delicate cycle with cold water in a washing machine.
• Micro Corduroy is a synthetic fabric, made from polyester, polyamide and spandex to allow resistance and stretch with a beautiful drape. Is absorbent, stretchy, comfortable, soft and wrinkle-resistant, perfect for daily outfits or travel with a fabulous velvet texture. It can be washed at home, either by hand in cold water or on a delicate cycle with cold water in a washing machine. Never can be ironed, only with steam.
